From all over...
Hey!
It's great to watch the Credo student applications roll in. We have such a diverse group of rad people sending in applications- some local here in the NW, but a TON from out of state. Alaska, Wisconsin, California...the list goes on. So many different backgrounds, interests, and life experiences, but all united by the common thread of a love for the Lord and a thirst to go deep with Him.I can't wait to see all these cool people interacting, thinking, and just living life together. What a unique opportunity to grow and learn.

Kara Jackson, Credo Coach
Once upon a time there was this girl. She lived in the woods in Gig Harbor Washington. She was Home schooled all the way through and did all that applies. You know... like home school soccer, home school band, home school jump roping, and even did 4-H, not a home school thing. On top of all this she loved Jesus very much and so when she was all done with home school high school she traveled to a far away land called Australia where she lived for six months and learned about God. When she got back she realized that she had hardly begun to scratch the surface so decided to go to another Bible school where she would gain greater knowledge of the Bible and be even more changed and impacted. She still attends there today and is currently living happily ever after.
Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed the short version of my life in story form:) If not that's ok because I did. Like I said, I am currently attending Multnomah Bible College where I will be graduating from in the Spring of 09 with a Major in Bible and Theology and a Major in Educational Ministry. I am enjoying my time here a lot! On top of loving school I also enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities such as, hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, snow skiing, wakeboarding, camping, gun shooting, hunting, and anything else that ends with an "ing" and can be done outside. I am the middle child of an amazing family. I have two outstanding parents as well as an older sister who is married, has twin boys, and is pregnant with another one. I also have a younger brother who went to Credo in 2004 and is married as well. I could go on and on with even more stories but I will stop now, however, if you're curious to hear more of them then you should for sure come to Credo this summer!!

J Clarke, Credo Coach

Hi, I'm J. I am originally from the Bay Area California but have spent the last 3 years in Portland going to school at Multnomah. I have really grown to love the beauty and culture of Portland. I’ve spent these few years studying theology, culture, counseling, experiential learning, and transformational leadership. My experience at Multnomah has created in me not only a depth of understanding, but shaped my heart and my character. I am so excited to be a part of Credo and to spend a couple weeks living and growing together with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Chris Fauerso, Credo Coach
Hey Credoers!
My name is Chris, I grew up in Spokane, WA. I grew up in a family with strong Christian values. I am the only brother of three, yes three, older sisters. Like most people I also have a Mom and a Dad. My whole family has been a great blessing to me and I thank God for them everyday. I have known about Credo for quite some time. Two of my older sisters have been involved with Credo and I finally got the chance myself 2 years ago. Looking back, I loved my time at Credo. I was stretched in so many different ways. Credo came at a pivotal time in my life where I was contemplating who I was as a person, what kind of person I wanted to be as I became independent of my family, and most importantly who I was as a follower of Christ. I experienced real community at Credo and was nudged and encouraged by other believers to grow in my relationship with the King. I met so many great people and some of them have most definitely become life long friends. After Credo was over I reflected on the things that I had learned during my time there. I learned about the Faithfulness of God and that no matter what lie before me I could rely on His Faithfulness to bring me through. Since then I have seen his Faithfulness displayed in my life over and over again. Credo is most definitely a unique experience that you will find nowhere else. It has helped me so many ways that you will only understand if you have attended Credo. I am grateful that I now have the chance to be a coach at Credo.
I enjoy snowboarding, longboarding, studying at coffee shops, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends. I like to meet new people, I might forget your name but I will never forget your face! I am in the Missionary Aviation program at MBC and enjoy everything from the daily Bible classes to hopping in a 172 Cessna and flying around the Portland area. I attend Imago Dei Community Church in Portland, OR, and volunteer with Wild Hope, which is a street ministry to homeless youth. I have recently traveled to New Orleans to help in the rebuilding process and in May I plan to travel to Mississippi with a team from MBC. We will be working in the projects of Jackson, Mississippi, on community development. The other coaches and I are praying for you all and ask you to pray as you consider joining us for Credo XI. We hope to hear from you soon and possibly meet you in person.
If you would like to read more about what I have been doing lately I have recently started a blog. It is chrisfauerso.blogspot.com. It covers my time in New Orleans in more depth. Feel free to add any of the coaches or myself on Credo myspace or Credo facebook. Send us a message or two if you have any questions.
God Bless,Chris Fauerso

Paul Pastor, Lead Coach
Paul is a graduating senior in Multnomah's Educational Ministries program. This will be the 4th year he has been involved with Credo, and he is stoked! Paul is a Portland native, and lives in the SE with his wife Emily. He loves the outdoors, playing various stringed instruments, and reading good books. He thinks that following Jesus is the greatest adventure imaginable, and plans on doing it forever.
