From all over...
Hey!
It's great to watch the Credo student applications roll in. We have such a diverse group of rad people sending in applications- some local here in the NW, but a TON from out of state. Alaska, Wisconsin, California...the list goes on. So many different backgrounds, interests, and life experiences, but all united by the common thread of a love for the Lord and a thirst to go deep with Him.I can't wait to see all these cool people interacting, thinking, and just living life together. What a unique opportunity to grow and learn.

Kara Jackson, Credo Coach
Once upon a time there was this girl. She lived in the woods in Gig Harbor Washington. She was Home schooled all the way through and did all that applies. You know... like home school soccer, home school band, home school jump roping, and even did 4-H, not a home school thing. On top of all this she loved Jesus very much and so when she was all done with home school high school she traveled to a far away land called Australia where she lived for six months and learned about God. When she got back she realized that she had hardly begun to scratch the surface so decided to go to another Bible school where she would gain greater knowledge of the Bible and be even more changed and impacted. She still attends there today and is currently living happily ever after.
Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed the short version of my life in story form:) If not that's ok because I did. Like I said, I am currently attending Multnomah Bible College where I will be graduating from in the Spring of 09 with a Major in Bible and Theology and a Major in Educational Ministry. I am enjoying my time here a lot! On top of loving school I also enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities such as, hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, snow skiing, wakeboarding, camping, gun shooting, hunting, and anything else that ends with an "ing" and can be done outside. I am the middle child of an amazing family. I have two outstanding parents as well as an older sister who is married, has twin boys, and is pregnant with another one. I also have a younger brother who went to Credo in 2004 and is married as well. I could go on and on with even more stories but I will stop now, however, if you're curious to hear more of them then you should for sure come to Credo this summer!!

J Clarke, Credo Coach

Hi, I'm J. I am originally from the Bay Area California but have spent the last 3 years in Portland going to school at Multnomah. I have really grown to love the beauty and culture of Portland. I’ve spent these few years studying theology, culture, counseling, experiential learning, and transformational leadership. My experience at Multnomah has created in me not only a depth of understanding, but shaped my heart and my character. I am so excited to be a part of Credo and to spend a couple weeks living and growing together with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Paul Pastor, Lead Coach
Paul is a graduating senior in Multnomah's Educational Ministries program. This will be the 4th year he has been involved with Credo, and he is stoked! Paul is a Portland native, and lives in the SE with his wife Emily. He loves the outdoors, playing various stringed instruments, and reading good books. He thinks that following Jesus is the greatest adventure imaginable, and plans on doing it forever.
Bethany Aldrich, Credo Coach
Hey There! I'm so glad that you are interested in Credo! For most of my life, I grew up in California with my parents and three siblings. I lived in near Sacramento and also near Bakersfield, with spurts in Washington. And now, I live in Gresham, Oregon when I am not at school. You could say I'm a West Coast kid. The city that I was born in was known during the Californian Gold Rush to hang people without a proper trial, and so it was nicknamed "Hangtown". Pretty morbid to be born in town with a name like Hangtown!
I am graduating this year from Multnomah with a minor in psychology. Wa-hoo!! If I had to pick a favorite class, it would have to be Intro to Counseling. It was such an amazing chance to learn how to better relate to people of all backgrounds and personalities. I grew up as a pastor's kid and saw the many difficulties of ministry. I realized through this class that I want to be able to support people who are in full-time ministry through counseling.

The Summer Approaches... All Aboard!
It's hard to believe that school is ever going to end sometimes, but for us Multnomah students, the end is in sight! For some, the light at the end of the tunnel looks like a homey glow, for others (like myself) it looks more like the halogen glare of an oncoming train- but for all of us, Summer is near.
I can't wait. I can't wait for the barbecues, long evenings, frisbee, and running barefoot all over Portland. Sweet, sweet summer.
Credo is coming quickly, too. Our staff meetings have been going super well (what a rad crew we have), and the two weeks of learning and living this summer are becoming more real with every passing day.
I just hope that there's room in the tunnel for both me and the train right now . :)
